01

Who this policy covers

The policy covers information collected through the website and its loan request form, operated from 4389 Cypress Street, Suite 269, Denver, CO 80202, and applies to every visitor and every person who submits a request.

We operate a free loan request and matching service, not a lender. Lenders and partners that receive your request have their own privacy policies, which govern how they use your information once they have it. We encourage you to read the policy of any lender before you accept an offer.

02

Information we collect

We collect the details you type into the request form, basic technical data from your device, and records of how you use the website, all of which help lenders review a request and help us run the service.

  • Identity and contact: name, date of birth, home address, email address and phone numbers
  • Financial: income amount and frequency, employer or income source, housing payment, requested loan amount and purpose
  • Identifiers: Social Security number or ITIN, driver's license or state ID number where the form asks for it
  • Banking: account type, routing number and account number so a lender can deposit funds and set up payments
  • Technical: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed and the time spent on them

We do not ask for your online banking password, card PIN or security answers, and you should never provide them to anyone who claims to represent us.

03

How we use your information

We use your information to send your request to lenders that may be able to help, to show you offers or other options, to communicate with you about your request, and to protect the service from fraud.

We also use it to keep records required by law, respond to support questions, measure which pages are helpful and improve the form. We may use contact details to send follow-up messages about your request or related financial products, and you can opt out of those messages at any time as described below.

04

How information is shared with lenders and partners

When you submit the form, your information is shared with lenders, lending networks and service providers that may be able to offer you a loan or a related product, and those companies may use it to contact you and check your credit.

Lenders that receive your request may obtain your credit report from a consumer reporting agency, usually starting with a soft inquiry. If you do not match with a lender, your request may be shared with providers of other financial services, such as credit-building tools or debt relief programs. We also share information with vendors that host the website, send messages or detect fraud, under contracts that limit their use of it, and with government authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell lists of borrowers to unrelated marketers.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses cookies and similar tools to keep the form working, remember your progress, measure traffic and understand which pages answer readers' questions best.

Some cookies are set by service providers that help us measure visits or prevent fraud. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, though the request form may need you to re-enter details. We honor browser Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sharing of information for targeted advertising where state law requires it.

07

How we protect and keep your information

Information you enter on the form travels over an encrypted connection, is stored with access limited to staff and vendors who need it, and is kept only as long as needed for the service and for legal records.

No system is perfectly secure, so we also monitor for unusual activity and review vendor safeguards. Request records are generally kept for up to seven years to meet record-keeping, dispute and fraud-prevention obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

08

Your choices and state privacy rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information and to stop sharing it for marketing, and residents of states such as California, Colorado, Virginia and Connecticut have additional rights under their state laws.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Some financial information is covered by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act instead of state law, which can limit these rights. To make a request, email [email protected] or call (888) 423-2857. We will confirm your identity before acting and will not treat you differently for using your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

09

Information about children

The website and request form are intended only for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 or from anyone under the age of majority in their state.

If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10

Changes to this policy and how to contact us

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change, and any material change will be posted on this page and highlighted on the website before it takes effect.

Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected], by phone to (888) 423-2857, or by mail to 4389 Cypress Street, Suite 269, Denver, CO 80202. See also our terms of use and advertiser disclosure.
